Description
Made of brown stoneware pottery, this tumbler features a sculpted monkey/ape face, but its jaw has been replaced with one made of metal. Reminiscent of He-Man's Trap Jaw, this tumbler is great for drinks or snacks, and can also be used as a vase, or as a fantastic conversation piece! (Conversations being: Is that a chimp, or a monkey? What's with its jaw? Is it looking at me? Answers should always be: Yes!)
This tumbler is 100% hand-turned, hand-sculpted, and hand-painted! It started its life as a lump of clay on a pottery wheel, then started to gain its character after hours of sculpting, and gained life and vigor thanks to its many, many thin layers of watercolour-like underglazes.
Diameter: 3.5"
Height: 5.5"
Width: 5"
Weight: 1.26 lb
Eyes: Yellow
Teeth: 6
Jaw: Gnashing
Note: Handwash only, as there's too great a chance that a dishwasher might damage the tumbler by causing chips, cracks, scratches, or even breakages. Trap Jaw Monkey does not want that!
